Challenge: An independent nonprofit, Compassionate Touch, was created as an extension of the well-established, faith-based nonprofit Lifeline Chaplaincy, and the new organization found it difficult to gain recognition for its unique mission.

Solution: GideonStone recommended a case statement that would capture the strengths and stories of the nonprofit, and the development of a new logo to clearly identify the new organization while retaining some visual tie to the “parent” nonprofit.

Results:

  • New case statement provided consistent language and key stories to be used for grant proposals and marketing materials.
  • New logo, designed by Greg Golden for GideonStone, created excitement among the staff and advisory board.
  • Incorporation of logo into the website and new promotional materials has resulted in increased recognition of the organization as a separate entity with a mission distinctive from Lifeline’s.

“I contacted Dr. Michelle Morris with GideonStone, LLC, concerning a branding project for our organization, Compassionate  Touch. Michelle was successful in helping with our logo, case statement and other aspects of our branding projects in a timely and professional  manner. Thanks, Michelle, for helping us take Compassionate Touch to the next level.
